who also loves to go to every bakery possible, cuddles the cat for at least 20 minutes a day, and works with people who think long term.
While other podcast managers just edit out the ums and uhs, I take a more in-depth approach.
Here's how: if a guest says a juicy tidbit at the end of an episode, I'll move it to the beginning to draw people in. Or if you go on your 6th tangent, I'll just remove it if it's not relevant to the story.
I'm ridiculously detail-oriented which is great when you spend 5 hours staring at a screen sometimes listening to the same sentence on repeat 6 times over to hear what's wrong with the audio.
Don't be afraid to mess up because I'm great at cleaning.
I should have known when I spent hours scripting, setting up the camera, and editing to make silly YouTube videos at 13 years old that it would come in handy to help me edit podcasts and videos today.
I always planned on starting a business - when I was like 30. Well, it's a little sooner than that and I genuinely can't believe this is my life.
I get paid to help people tell stories all day - and I take as many vacation days as I want, when I want. (Don't worry, all your content still gets done.)
You know my fave things about you?
You know you're in it for the long haul when it comes to podcasting.
You know you're not afraid to bet on yourself when it comes to reaching 100 episodes.
You know you have something to share and you're willing to put yourself out on the internet.
You understand that podcasting is vulnerable. For you. For your listeners. For your guests. But you want to use that vulnerability to create a safe space and inspire disruption of the status quo.
So, someone like you?
You are the person that should be podcasting.
It's your podcast and your business. You have the final choice over what to do with it. I'll help guide the ship, but you have to steer it.
I do not fuck around. I'm upfront with my pricing, who I want to work with, and what I expect. You should be upfront as well, we'll both be better for it.
I'm growing, you're growing, we'll continue to grow together with an open mind that's ready to solve the problem in front of us.
Your voice matters. Your thoughts matter. There is room for everyone. When we all work together we create great things.
